Watercolor Portraits

Watercolors are beautifully suited to portraits. The soft, transluscent paint just lends itself to capturing the personality of a child or an adult.

Laura begins the portrait by photographing the subject. Once photographed, the artist will select the photos that will be best suited for a portrait. From those photos, the client will assist in the selection of the final reference photo. If you prefer to have a portrait of your child from a photo that you already have or a photo of your child at a younger age, Laura can work from those photos also.

There is no deposit required to begin the portrait. The artist will complete the painting and the payment is due at that time. If the client is not completely satisfied with the portrait, no payment is due. The portrait will become a part of the artist's portfolio.

For a watercolor portrait that will be suitable to accomodate a 16x20 frame, the price will range from $875 to $1200.
